She melted icecaps with matches.

She constructed ladders
from slightly chewed twine
and kitchen spoons
to reach the frosty moon.

She created fire in cupped palms
to blow upon timber just
to hear the faint crackle
and pop!
of burning cinders.

She spun ropes of flames
with nimble, calloused hands
to fish for ice
in the seas below.

She melted icecaps with matches.

Another poem for the #Glory-Be-Project. I've been filling your inbox's up with poetry quite a lot lately, so sorry about that ^^; I probably won't post each days poem, but then again I might.

So yeah, this is me saying sorry ahead of time.

You may not use this, under any circumstances, without my permission. Icecaps (c) dawn181, a.k.a Taylor (me)

Aw thank you :)

I'm glad you like the flow, as that was the one thing I was super conflicted about.

You're welcome.

Hopefully, I eased your mind a little about it then. :D
